Session title: Db2 = SQL + JSON
Session abstract: This is your opportunity to come learn about what we have been doing in Db2 to support JSON in the relational world. We will cover what has been done so far in DB2 10.5 and Db2 11.1 and we will look ahead to what else the future might hold.This is also your chance to provide valuable feedback to Db2 development on how JSON fits in your plans as well as what capabilities would be of value to you!
Speaker biography:
Paul Bird is a senior technical staff member (STSM) in the Db2 development organization. For the last 25+ years, he has worked on the inside of the DB2 for Linux, Unix, and Windows product as a lead developer and architect with a focus on such diverse areas as workload management, monitoring, security, upgrade, and general SQL processing.
